Meet Our Featured Artist, Ashton Kaleigh!
Ashton is a beloved Artist Instructor here at I Painted That! She has been painting for the last decade and a half in oil, acrylic, and watercolor. Her paintings are figurative leaning surreal, playing with symbolism to comment on various aspects of the human condition and current societal issues.
Ashton’s love of art was cultivated early. Her mother was a talented artist and passed on her love of creation. In her teen years, Ashton was also influenced artistically by her love of comic books. She later attended Texas Tech University to study fine art and painting.
